It’s summer vacation here at CanopyBoulder. Long sunny days and cold drinks by the water. We took some time away from the office to unwind and recover from our first 13-week program. I headed out to the East Coast for some serious beach time and seafood fix. Patrick headed to the mountains of southwest Colorado. We met back up in Grand Junction before heading to a brilliant conference at Powder Mountain.
Now it’s back to the office as we wade through backlogged tasks. First on the list is selection of our fall class of ten companies.
It’s a difficult process to weed through applications looking for the gems. We start with the founder profiles, looking for exceptional people and great teams. Next we look at the scalability of the idea and business concept. Can this become a big business? Finally, we delve into the details of competition, viability, cost to grow, etc.
